General Requirements: To qualify, you'll need to meet the following minimum criteria: Have a master's or doctoral degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution (or the international equivalent) or and extensive proven knowledge and expertise in the subject you wish to teach. Requirements vary by course and program. Each candidate's experience and academic preparation will be reviewed to meet the established requirements developed for each program and specific course. Some programs require more specific qualifications. Because our courses begin each week, it's always a good time to apply. Your journey toward becoming an instructor begins with your submission of a Pre employment application form. We will then determine if you meet our current needs. If so, your resume and transcripts will be requested, evaluated and you may be contacted for an interview. If you are selected to be an instructor you will begin instructing specific courses.

Investigator Position

 

THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN THE SPECIAL OPERATIONS UNIT:

Location: Indiana

Under the direction of the Supervising Investigator, Division of Investigation (DOI), the incumbent independently conducts the most sensitive, complex, covert surveillance, and diverse administrative, civil, and criminal investigations. The position will record all findings, obtain written and/or recorded evidence, prepare thorough investigative reports, and as needed, testify at legal proceedings and/or hearings.

Essential Functions:

• The functions listed describe the business purpose of this job. Specific duties or tasks may vary and be documented separately. The employee might not be required to perform all functions listed. Additional duties may be assigned, and functions may be modified, according to business necessity.

• Independently develop and execute appropriate investigation strategies for assigned investigations.

• Obtain and verify the evidence by interviewing, conducting covert surveillance, and/or through the use of open-source and database information on suspects and witnesses.

• Examine records/data, gather evidence, classify, and differentiate investigative elements.

• Maintain proper evidence chain of custody.

• Assist in identifying trends and recommend corrective action to clients.

• Conduct security risk assessments, workplace violence activities, and crisis interventions.

• Complete investigative reports thoroughly and professionally.

• Establish partnerships and collaborate with law enforcement agencies.

• Testify at hearings and legal proceedings, as needed.

• Serve as the liaison between the client and C4SEM to ensure all inquiries/concerns are addressed confidentially and appropriately.

• All other duties, as assigned.

 

Minimum Hiring Standards:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., email, cell phone).

• Must have a reliable means of transportation.

• Must be a United States citizen.

Education/Experience:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED at the minimum. Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or a security-related field is preferred.

Must have a minimum of three years of experience as an Investigator in either the public or private sectors. Experience with complex criminal, civil, and/or proprietary investigations is preferred.

• Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screening and background investigation.

• Must have a working knowledge of criminal law and criminal justice rules of evidence, about theft/fraud and misappropriation issues.

• Must have hands-on knowledge of current federal/state laws governing investigations, evidence collection and handling, and civil and criminal proceedings.

 

Must possess the following competencies:

• Effective independent judgment/decision-making and problem-resolution skills.

• Able to prepare accurate, clear, and concise reports.

Excellent communication, both written and verbal, and effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.

• Able to interact effectively at all levels, including management and across diverse backgrounds.

• Able to prioritize and complete multiple assignments simultaneously while preserving the integrity of the investigation process.

• Serve as an effective team member.

Excellent computer and organizational skills with the ability to work independently.

Critical thinking, initiative, self-motivation, and attention to detail, are essential components for all candidates.

Conduct various types of investigations and covert surveillance with an emphasis on insurance fraud and insurance claims defense.

• Flexible in work schedules to include working long hours, available to work nights, weekends, and holidays, if needed.

  • Make sound judgments both during the investigation and with future handling recommendations.

  • Turn in updates, evidence, and report promptly.

  • Upload surveillance video upon completion of an investigation.

  • The nature of this job requires early hours, long days, and travel into surrounding areas.

Executive Protection - Off-Duty and Retired Police Officer

Protective Agent provides a safe and secure environment for the client. C4SEM personally designs a comprehensive plan to ensure that the client has the freedom to work, travel and conduct their lives without distractions. The focus of the Agent is on advanced planning, threat assessment, and problem-solving specializing in client management. Management can be implemented through one on one security protection, residential protection, and/or elaborate tracking or monitoring system. The Agent is chosen from a cross-section of Federal, State, and local law enforcement to provide security services ranging from Fortune 500 companies to entertainment industry executives, major special events, and any other type of venue requiring a secure presence.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Armed escort responsible for the life safety and physical security of assigned client

  • Investigation and surveillance support  

  • Product escort

  • Executive protection

  • Other duties as assigned

* Requires Background Investigation and clean driving record.

Off-Duty Police Officer

 

Minimum Qualification:

  • Ability to follow established procedures and policies. Post orders to include enforcement of client/company rules, policies, and/or regulations.

Security Officer (Unarmed)


Minimum Qualification:

 

Must be a US Citizen with a valid Social Security Card and driver's License.

  • Birth certificate; 21 years of age.

  • Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.

  • Minimum of a GED/High School Diploma.

  • Ability to perform essential functions of the position which may include long periods of sitting, walking, standing, climbing stairs, or driving with or without reasonable accommodations.

  • Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic.

  • Must be able to pass a background check covering the last 5 years.

 

Category: General

  • Observes and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.

  • Makes periodic patrols to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.

  • Preserves orders and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site about personnel, visitors, and premises.

  • Controls access to client site or facility through the admittance process

  • Patrols assigned site on foot or in a vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.

  • Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.

  • Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents.

  • Prepares logs and reports as required.

Security Officer (Armed)


Minimum Qualification:

 

Must be a US Citizen with a valid Social Security Card and driver's License.

 

  • Trained, Certified, and Authorized to carry a firearm.

  • Birth certificate; 21 years of age.

  • Minimum of a GED/High School Diploma.

  • Due to the nature of the position, the security officer must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.

  • At least three calendar years of verifiable experience as a certified Federal, state, county, local, or military law enforcement officer (Military police); all three years must have occurred within the last seven years (this experience does not have to be consecutive). The experience must have included general arrest authority; _Must be_ able to provide certification as proof)

  • Ability to follow established procedures and policies. Post orders to include enforcement of client/company rules, policies, and/or regulations.

  • Ability to perform essential functions of the position which may include long periods of sitting, walking, standing, climbing stairs, or driving with or without reasonable accommodations.

  • Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic.

  • Must have a valid driver's license from the state of residency and a safe driving record for the past five years

  • Must be able to pass a background and credit check covering the last 10 years and pass a drug screening due to the nature of the position.

The position will be tasked with sales and marketing strategies for Indiana Security Guard Service and Investigation Div., as well as helping C4SEM advance its business model and enter new markets. Additionally, this business development role will be in charge of all C4SEM business partnership efforts as a prim or sub, including engaging, planning, designing, and managing all partnerships.

Excellent position for a retired or active military or law enforcement officer. This can be a part-time or full-time, exempt position. Compensation includes a competitive commission and an incentive package.
